I have a batch of california common I am fermenting. OG came in at 1.058 on 1/18/12. Had it fermenting at about 55 degrees until 1/24/12 but came in this morning and the cooler had dropped to 34 degrees. So, should I take it out and leave at room temp, here it is about 68 degrees, or leave in the cooler and raise the temp back up in there to the fifties? I double pitched the WLP810 so I should have had a healthy supply of yeast to start.

Thanks,
mfs

What is the gravity reading? If it didn't finish fermenting you need to raise the temps back up to at least the high 40's - low 50's for it to complete.

three weeks started at 65 down to 54 three weeks, D Rest 24 hours 64 degrees.

now taken her back down to 54 for a week then bottle.

Hope to do my first yeast washing and save 8 bucks!!!
