Interesting combo there. I have a pellet stuff that has been running at night for a few days now. Goes off during the day.
A buddy has a coal stove. Damn near killed his family with a CO scare last winter.
The coal stove doesn't draft well unless the temp is below 45 F outside. I could run it now but it would go out a bunch on me, and I don't want to spend all the time re-lighting it.
I have several CO detectors around the house. I actually set one off with the pellet stove when I fired it up a couple of years ago and there was a plug in the chimney.
