This one goes to the kettle Monday, so I am going to the store tomorrow. Any last thoughts or comments before I commit?

That is a nice looking profile. all Columbus should be tasty!
FWIW I like to keep my beer buddies guessing at the malt profile. Why not add some complexity to it with a little Munich Malt say 5-10%, and some malted wheat up to 5%. It's always a blessing so see some foam cling to the side of a pint glass:)

Tasty recipe! Salivating as I type this. I agree with the "I can't quite place that malt profile" BUT your friends might be more sophisticated then mine :p.

I'd skip the Munich and put some Victory in there! But then again, I'm a noob.

I've done all Columbus IPA's before. It works well. Columbus is the only hop I buy by the pound. The hopwine that is stinking out the aging chest is 3 oz of Columbus in one gallon of wine.

Looks great, nice and simple. I like the all Columbus schedule. And the crystal comes out to 1 lb in a 5 gallon brew. I say that's right on. Being that strong, it will have some sweetness anyway. Better not to over do it with the crystal.

How about first wort hopping with some of that columbus? I don't agree with extra malts, there's going to be enough going on with that 1.08152 OG.
