Old glass soda bottles

Yes they take regular crown caps. Terrapinchef who hasn't been around much lately used the short 10 ounce coke bottles for his barleywine. They're really cool.

Obviously if you are using them for beer, since they are clear you wanna keep them out of direct sunlight to avoid skunking.

They look cool...The cases alone are worth it.

Don't use them for bottle carbed soda! Beer is fine, and more precisely carbed. But soda is a guessing game. What you do with soda is let the yeast go until the bottles get firm, then stick them in the fridge. For plastic bottles, this is fine. But for glass, if they overcarb because you didn't chill them well/fast enough or someone left them out of the fridge (like at a party), they will blow up!

Oh ofc ofc, the soda would be force carbed in a keg then bottled. No worries, I am aware, thanks for looking out!
