Black berry beer

1LB Carapils (Briess) 155 for 45 mins
1LB honey malt 155 for 45 mins
3 LB Briess Dried Malt Extract- Sparkling Amber
3LB Briess Dried Malt Extract- Golden Light
1oz cascade pellet hops 60 min
1oz tettnang pellet hops 30 min
1oz German Magnum Pellet Hops 5 min
6lb black berries 10 min boil
White Labs Dry English Ale Yeast WL007
 
Alot of the advice Ive read on fruit beers is to seconday on the fruit.

Im not sure what effect you'll get from boiling the blackberries, but it may end up boiling off the aromatics and the blackberry flavor.
 
i wouldnt boil the berries, you'll get alot of pectin haze.

I'd ditch the carapils, it's already in the light extract and 2lbs of crystal plus amber extract is too much. your hops seem backwards btw, cascade is generally a finishing hop, while magnum is almost exclusively used for bittering (fairly mild aroma/flavor)
