Yesterday, I ordered the Cream Stout Kit from Midwest Supplies. Its a sweeter stout that I thought would pair well with coffee. I plan to use crushed coffee beans in the secondary. But I was wondering how much to add, and if anyone had any other techniques that has worked well, or has simply made coffee, cooled it, and added it to the secondary to eliminate any sediment at the bottom of the secondary. Its a five gallon batch, primary is a 6 gallon plastic fermenter, secondary is glass 5 gallon carboy, and will be bottled all in 32 oz swing top bottles
Any and all input is appreciated.... THANKS!
