What is causing this fading?

HI
2nd year garden, hops are growing pretty good. Starting to produce some nice cones.
Cannot figure out why some of the leaves are faded in color.
Any thoughts are appreciated.

I am not a hops grower, but my daughter is experimenting with it commercially. She was explaining to me the other day that some of her plants were faded out completely. She got advice to spray a concoction of high nitrogen fertilizer and iron on the leaves. Color was restored overnight. I would suggest researching this as I might not have recalled the conversation in its entirety. Best of luck
 
Yea if your plants are starting to flower its likely nutrient deficiency...a small amount of fertilizer should help it along for the next few stressful weeks.
