I m looking for a hop schedule for a barley wine I have bulk simcoe cascade and Chinook hops any suggestions also what type of yeast should I use I'm making 5 gal

Just go with Cali ale or pacman. With those hops I assume you're making a American barleywine.

1.5oz chinook 60min

then add these at flameout:
2oz cascade
2oz simcoe
1.5oz chinook

That would give you a pretty assertive hop profile, but a barleywine will stand up to it.

Never made one before and I have quite a pipeline and want to brew something different any tips or things I should know

And if it were me, my flame out addition would be as follows.

1. Kill flame
2. Whirpool wort for +- 1 min with a large spoon or mash paddle
3. Toss in flameout hops, cover kettle
4. Let sit 30 minutes in hot wort
5. Chill as normal

Although it adds 30 minutes to the brew day, the rewards are overwhelmingly worth it.

Sounds good thanks and I take it two slap packs in a starter What should I know about aging with this brew
