I have a 10 month old and was wondering, does anyone use baby food jars to store washed yeast?

I don't see any reason not to besides maybe being a little on the small side, but if you minimize the liquid on top it should be plenty.

I don't like having a ton of canning jars in the fridge, so use preforms (like white labs) or some 125 ml sampling jars. You could go one of two ways. stpugs way is good, or if you do the canning jar technique, once it all settles, drain off most liquid and transfer to the baby food jars to save space.

On another note; if you bottle harvest, seeing if the baby food jars will re-seal in a canner would make for the perfect size initial wort addition.
