Came up with some free downloads, but I wanted to see if anyone here had any thoughts.

I want to separate songs on a live radio broadcast I recorded on my ZEN.

Then put them in itunes or back on the zen or both.

It is in itunes now (I could convert to mp3).

Are you mac or pc? If mac, Garageband can actually do a lot of that stuff pretty easily. IIRC, converting in and out is a bit of a PITA, and GB files take up a lot of space, but it's pretty intuitive to work with.

If pc, Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) is nice and easy (and free!). I'm on mac but I use it for sound editing sometimes. Should do you right.

If you want to capture them through a stream, use audio hijack. It will capture any audio output on a computer, on an application basis.

Audacity for sure. Well, if you're doing some batch processing stuff, SoX(1) is easier to automate.
