Hi guys, I've had an IPA that did 2 weeks in primary (2nd week with LOTS of dry hops) and I switched it to a new glass carboy about a week ago to condition for another 2 weeks before bottling. I noticed yesterday that all of a sudden there's white bubblies at the top. Is this mold or something related to the trub/gunk from earlier and the dry hopping?

I always vigorously clean my gear and dowse everything in iodine sanitizer.

See pics and let me know if that looks like mold or something else. I've never seen this.

...and forgot to mention that looking at lots of older posts its probably cool, partially just for my own sanity.

How I wish I had come to the forums first about 5 hours ago. I threw out 5 gal of a tripel because I thought I had mold. Apparently I had yeast rafts.

^^ Saddest thing I've read in awhile.

I'll go ahead and finish this freakin' incredible glass of ass-kicking RIS in honor of your lost batch.
And see if I can make it to bed before it knocks me out...

Cheers! :mug:
