Hey all,
First off, would it be helpful to have a gentle heater for your yeast starter?

If so how many of you have considered using a peltier element for such functionality?

I'm thinking about doing this when I build my stir plate and wondering if its even worth the effort.

My neighbor has an ancient stir plate with a heater on it. I don't see a huge reason for using it on a starter, assuming the ambient temperature in your house is above 60 F or so.

That being said, peltiers are cool, and if you change your mind, flip it around! I just finished building my stir plate, and did not include a heater (or cooler). As I said, I don't see a point.
