Yesterday I noticed a craig's list posting for a guy that wanted someone to cut a keg in two in order to scrap it... I promptly filed it under cool, but I don't want to spend any money.
Last night, HBT Senior member of awesomeness Roger McAllen, made a reference to the same post in my area, so I was intruiged. I sent the CL'er a text message (since he left his phone number) and asked him how much he wanted for them.... the next morning, he replied and said give me a price. my ridiculous response was 20, cash in hand in 30 minutes.... he said sure and asked when I pick it up. So, to make this unncecesarrily long post short, I went over to the dude's place and he had two kegs... got them both for 35 us hard currency.
Now I just need to get the tops off of the damn things.
