Brew kettle??

I've never bought a pot from Williams but....a stainless pot is a stainless pot. It has a spigot and that's probably the most important thing. If it fits your needs (size/price etc..) then go for it.
 
I would hesitate because of the size. 40qt is well big enough for 5 gallon batches, but is not big enough for a 10 gallon batch. If you are 100% set on doing 5g batches, get a smaller one for cheaper. If you ever think you would go to 10, get a bigger one over ever having buy another kettle later. This is the same reason I could never recommend a 20 quart pot for people who only do partial boils.

I have a pot right now that works great for 5g batches, just a bit too small for 10. There are rare occasions I would like to do 10g batches, but I can't until I get a bigger pot.
 
Not positive, but I think Forest at Austin Home Brew Supply claims to sell the same pot w/ valve sold seperately for less $$ and better shipping $$. Not sure of the details. Just a heads up.
