I just finished up my second batch of doing steeping grains, have about ten batches total under the belt....but I have already noticed that even with steeping grains I am able to cut my costs quite a but and so I'm looking at moving along to all grain brewing, but I have no idea what the process is....

In general terms could someone outline what the process is from start to finish, meaning up to the point of putting the wort in the fermentation bucket.

Thanks,

Douglas

You could also check out some youtuibe videos. I read alot, but am more of a visual learner and I found tons of helpful videos on Youtube.

How to Brew is a great read. You'll want to read that pretty soon, but it is a very intimidating book for somebody who wants to jump to all-grain.

Read Bobby M's all grain primer. I'd even suggest you read page 9 (his actual brew day process) first. There are 1001 things you can tweak and knobs you can turn to make everything absolutely perfect, but the difference between extract brewing and all grain brewing is about $50 on a cooler modification and a whole bunch of paying attention. If you're paying attention when you brew, the switch to all grain should not be difficult.
