Maybe something Belgian...? I can't remember having a beer with a pickle and ever thinking it was a great combo. I just brewed a gose, not sure if the slightly salty flavor would pair well with a pickle, or if it would be too much.
 
I really like a dry pislner or something of that nature with a good hamburger, fries and a pickle.
 
I paired an "American Saison" with deep fried pickles. The pairing was heavenly.

Springtime in Columbus
7 lb Dingemans Pilsner Malt
4 lb Dingemans Pale Wheat Malt
1/2 lb Aromatic Malt
1 lb Turbinado Sugar (5 min)

1 oz Columbus 12.2% pellets (60 min)
.25 oz Columbus (20 min)
.25 oz Centennial 10.1% pellets (20 min)
.75 oz Columbus (0 min)
.25 oz Centennial (0 min)

Wyeast 3724 Saison Yeast

Mash 153º for 60 min

OG 1.060
FG 1.010
IBU 49.2
ABV 6.7%
