clean tank after use

Hi all, brewed my first Lager batch

I'm cleaning up my equipment but becuase my tank only have the airlock hole at the top and the tap in the bottom, its diffucult to get my brush in there and clean some of brown residue off. At the moment I got some water with bleach so it can soak a bit.. Any ideas or tricks I can try?

What kind of "tank" is this? OxyClean works great as a soaking cleaner, I don't like using chlorine.

I'm not quite sure what you're referring to as a "tank". Sounds like a bottling bucket but maybe you could provide more details or a pic. BTW, a soak in PBW or oxyclean will usually remove any residue.

not sure if the products brands are available in South Africa, but it gives me something to work from!

The blue cap unscrews and you can clean it well with Oxyclean
