So I got laid off two months ago and started brewing again (after 7 years off). I quickly realized extract brewing has gotten a lot pricier, and have been really itchy to go all grain- particularly brew in a bag style. BUT, I needed a 10 gal kettle, a propane burner and a wort chiller, and don't have the funds.
Went over to some friend's house for Thanksgiving. He flat out GIVES me a propane burner, and "lends" me his wort chiller, because he hasn't brewed in years.
So, $70 for a pot, and some curtain material for a bag, and I'm AG!!!!
The burner looks like a rocket too- no dial, there is just a metal square that you flip over the flame to control temp. It looks very industrial.
