Can anyone give me the quick and dirty method to adjust my hydrometer readings according to the temperature to make the measurement accurate ?

I hope you understand what I'm asking.

One of my beers is at 1.020 @ 50F, and its been at that gravity for about 3 days now. The OG was 1.061 @ 75F and I'm suspecting its done, but the final gravity is higher than I'm expecting.

I want to adjust the readings for temperature so I have more confidence in the measurement.

So in summary.... the quick and dirty / back of the envelope way to arrive at the correct measurement is to add .0001 for every degree over 60 and subtract .0001 for every degree under 60.

eg. If the temp is 75 thats ( 15 degress over 60 times .0001 = add .0015 to the reading )

or

If the temp is 50 thats ( 10 degress under 60 times .0001 = subtract .001 from the reading )
