Hi all

I boiled off too much volume for my Original Bitter today. My 5 gal batch had a post boil gravity of 1.043 and a volume of only 15.5 liters. I added boiled then chilled water to achieve a volume of 19 liters. I believe my OG is now corrected to 1.035. Does this sound correct?

Thanks

From what I use as my calculation, adding 3.5 liters of water will lower your OG by 0.007. You're at 1.036 in my books, but not much different from 1.035.
