EDIT: Wierd, this was supposed to be in another threat....
Anyway, what I meant to say, was I am currently using Crystal 75L right now, and I love the flavor.

I'm really not sure I can add much to what jjones17 already said, 
but
A slight difference in the type of added body and sweetness. American crystal is often described as having a caramel flavor, and English a Toffee flavor. Here is a link to a pretty helpful page on types of malts that has info on both American and English Crystal.
