OK, last night I was transferring some cider into a carboy, and I had a little accident.
First a little history: My autosiphon never worked since the day I bought it, so I have been filling my racking cane with star-san and letting it run into a small bucket until the line is filled with beer, then switching over to the carboy.
What happened was I did not have the racking cane submerged, and when I released the clamp, about half (or more)of the star-san went into my fermenter. Will this harm the cider?
