My father and I recently started home brewing.

We just completed our first batch of New Castle Clone. It turned out great! We added a little more malt extract than the recipe calls for and it worked pretty well for us.

We're currently working on a kolsch that just stabilized. We transferred to the secondary today.

We started an imperial Russian stout on Saturday and it's off to a great start.

We're looking into doing a citrus-y belgian witbeir next. Were currently brewing with an extract set-up. We will probably switch to full grain after we get the hang of it a little bit more. We would like to eventually open a micro-brewery, but that's a little ways away.

Wow you guys are all-in! Just started and you've got all that going on? And using a conical? OK I'm jealous.

Anyhow I'm a noob too, just started, got my first batch in the primary. I'm just a little north of you in Menifee. I might have to beg a bottle of that RIS off of you :D
