I mixed up a 1 gallon batch of Edwort's Apfelwein yesterday. I pitched the yeast- Red Star Montrachet and a day later there is still no airlock activity. Did I do something wrong and if so how can I fix it?
 
I used Apple & Eva Apple Juice. The label says its made from concentrate.
 
It was room temp. when I poured it. now its sitting in my basement at about 68-70 degrees. Thanks for the help.
 
sometimes it will start right up, sometimes not, I've had a couple batches that took 36-48 hours for the yeast to multiply enough to get any airlock activity... RDWHAHB... :tank:
