For my first brew I tried the prehopped Coopers Australian Ale since it was easy and had some decent recommendations. It sat in the primary one week and the secondary one week and then I bottled. Last night I put one in the fridge and tried it today and it tasted excellent! I had a bit of chill haze and the head didnt last very long because it had only been carbonating 11 days but if I give the rest of the bottles another 10-14 days they will be great!

I recommend this kit for those that are just starting and are unsure about their abilities. For the fermentable I added 3lbs of light DME instead of the coopers sugar mixture.

Congrats! I'll be tasting my very first brew in a couple days (early taste of the bottle, like you). Hope I have the same success. :D

Cheers :mug:
