i knew i forgot something......:tank:

8 lbs pale malt
.5 lbs roasted barley
.5lbs black patent malt
.5lbs korean roasted barley (more like brown malt imo)
.5lbs flaked barley



mash 153F for 90 minutes, batch sparge, collect six gallons wort,

2 oz ekg kettle (5 %aa)

irish ale yeast cake.
 
If it hasn't started fermenting, take a gravity now. Some times, I'll just leave the sample and hydrometer sitting next to the fermenter & watch it drop.
 
it's too late... already up and through the airlock..... ;) i tried pulling some out of the kettle, but too many hops particles in there to get an accurate reading.

it can't be higher than 1.052 or so... i'll just ballpark this one. and give it an extended secondary.
