What temperature controlers are you using to set up automated herms systems, or to control an electric hlt?

Eventually I'd like to go electric. My sight glass (from the thread here) has a plug that looks like it's 1/4 inch, might be a spot, but I'm not seeing controllers with threaded digital probes.

How are you guys setting this up?

you need a thermowell (something to stick the thermocouple from the controller in) so it gets the temp. but doesnt get wet...some people by them and some find ways to make them with copper tubing and stuff...an example would be part number 3957K68 on mcmaster.com
