I'm brewing a partial mash hefeweizen and i dropped about a tablespoon of grain into the brewpot. Can I do my boil with the grain in there or do I need to do something to get it out?

Thanks,
Doug (brewing and watching the Horns)

I would roll with it, but I can't tell you if you will get any tannins from the husks. I would guess it will be minimal at the most, especially if the pH of your boil is in the right range (this is something you need to check, I imagine you're pretty safe).

a tablespoon really shouldn't matter a whole lot in a 5 gal batch. I'd be more worried about the Longhorns losing to Kansas St. :cross:

Ya, I blame myself, I shoulda given the game my full attention :(
