Has anyone tried this http://www.zymico.com/bazooka/ , on their boil kettle.....

I would like to think it would help me filter out hops when transfering to my fermenter, but I'm not sure how easily it would get clogged or not....

Thanks

I use the Bazooka T in my converted keg boil kettle and have had good results. The top of the screens get coated with hot break and hop material while it continues to draw from the sides and bottom. I am able to draw off all but about 12 ounces of wort. Cleaning it requires disassembly. I rinse it then soak in hot PBW and then use a little brush to remove all of the material.
