what's everyones favorite yeast?
I used to really like WL cali V, but it crapped out on me several times in a row and stopped fermenting and 1.020 ~ 1.015.
So I switched to WL german/koelsch, and while it ferments down a little lower, it doesn't compact nicely a the bottom of the fermenter. I have to say the cali V formed a nice SOLID cake.
Any other faves?
