Brew Day... Water main break!

Having someone come over to brew their first batch with me.(Cream of 3 crops btw!) Yesterday on my way to work i noticed some water all over the road a few blocks away. After work i washed everything and got all my equipment ready for a 3 batch day.

this morning i wake up and notice some discoloration in my water out of the sink, off to Sams to buy multiple 4 gallons of water jugs.

i will finally learn how to conserve water while brewing.haha

Won't you need more than 4 gallons?

I gather from his post that Sam's has 4 gallon water jugs, he is buying several of them.

I had to read it twice myself!

I was debating buying water for today, and I would have had to get 11 gallons which is the reason for my concern. I just purged the water in the hose and went with what came out after.

Sorry for my horrible english, it's my first language.... actually my only!

but yes i bought 4 of them. my sister lives a few blocks, i'm gonna go fill them up a second time. and 3rd if needed.

so far so good, i have the first done and on the boil. the second batch is heating to the sparge temp now.
