I work part-time at a local hardware store, and we sell 30qt turkey fryers. Big stock pot, burner, everything included, and I was thinking of using this for a wort boiler. I've seen alot of stainless steel set-ups, but this turkey fryer pot is aluminum. Does this affect taste, head retention at all?

Thanks!

No, aluminum is fine. We've had many, many discussions about this and many of us use aluminum. The turkey fryer quality is not great, though- my pot dented super easily, and a 6 gallon boil seems always in danger of boiling over. Still, that's what I use and it works for me.
