I just got a can of Alexander's Sauvignon Blanc concentrate today. My question is since the concentrate already contains sulfites do I need to add campden to the must prior to fermentation (reduce chance of bacterial infection or spontaneous fermentation) or are additional sulfites not needed? Will it hurt anything if add campden just to be on the safeside?

Thanks everyone

D

You'll need to add sulfites after fermentation is complete, and prior to bottling but no more is needed. I never add sulfites to any of my wines and meads other than after fermentation.
