Crushed grain that is vacuum sealed and refrigerated,......how long before it goes stale. I've searched around and have seen that crushed grain starts going stale in about a month in the fridge, but haven't seen any ideas if it is in a vacuum sealed package..

Yeah i know, crush my own, that'll be soon, but not now.

It's hard to give a definitive answer, as quality and freshness is a very subjective thing. Think about coffee: some people are perfectly happy with a giant can of pre-ground Folgers that sits in the fridge for months, while others insist on buying fresh beans and grinding seconds before brewing. Neither approach is wrong, so long as you're happy with what ends up in the cup.

Obviously it's best to mill immediately before mashing, but by vacuum sealing and refrigerating, you're doing everything you can to maximize freshness. I wouldn't worry about it.
