I just kegged my first batch and have a question. When going through the keg cleaning / sanitizing process, I ran the cleaning solution, rinse and BDF through the beer line and out the tap. Then I filled my keg, put into keezer, hit it with 30 psi pressure, purged the oxygen, and then do I connect the beer line? Since I just cleaned and sanitized the beer line, is that the only way to keep it sanitized is to hook it up? I have the room and available beer lines, just not sure if I'm supposed to let it sit with or without the beer line connected.

Thanks for your input.

I've done it both ways with no ill side effects. I usually keep my beer lines full of star san until I hook them up. Once hooked up I start the flow and throw out the first 1/2 pint since its a lot of star san.
