Is there a minimum amount of drop need to get to the pump? So in a single tier setup how much lower should the pump be reletive to the hlt, mlt, bk?

Just make sure what ever fittings you use with your mount position are lower than the lowest liquid draw point form your vessels and gravity should prime the pumps.

Just lower than the ball valve. Mines around 1 ft below the kettles.

Btw thanks for this question, I went into the brewshed to look at my pumps, only to hear the sound of rushing water. My water filter line pulled out of the connection and flooded my new shed. DAMN!

glad to hear you found the running water

So I guess to allow the least amount of height its best to have the ball valves parallel to the floor?
