(Speaking of getting high)
So do kids still build plastic models, or is it only adults waxing nostalgic?

You ever inadvertently or on purpose get high on that stuff?
I wish I ever thought as a kit to see if it was flammable.
As an aside, I used to love putting my old ganster rap cassette tapes into Teddy Ruxpin and letting that mutha phucker get DOWN.
me too! Nothing like seeing a teddy bear go "yeeeeeeaaaah boooiiiiii"

Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats, HOOOOO!
I've bought and built a few snap-tite kits with my boy. A few Estes Rockets too.
Had to show ID to buy the friggin glue.
I put together the models that require the glue. Usually do the war planes/tanks and then paint them. Thoroughly enjoy it!
Of course, my brother and I souped up the catapults so that they fired the things at a thousand miles per hour.

Wisconsin people will remember the Two Fisted Slopper.
(For the rest, at the old Milwaukee Brewers stadium, they had the amber screen scoreboard where they could display all sorts of animation. [It's featured in Major League.] Anyway, one of the animations was a cartoon drunk guy staggering around with a beer in each hand and they'd tell us "Don't be the two-fisted slobber!")
Before "bullying", bicycle helmets and the general pussifacation of today's youth, there were these gems.
Speaking of the Brewers, remember the old Bernie Chalet?
