I've never had oak cubes sink before, but again I've never bottled with oak cubes either. Is this normal?
I've got a bottle of concentrated apfelwein with oak cubes in it for aging, and they are still floating after a month.
I've got another bottle of plain cider with just 2 oak cubes in it, but they have sunk after 2 weeks. This bottle was carbonated.
What's the deal?
