Texas Eggfest

April 28th is the Texas Eggfest in Austin on Lake Travis. It's a get together of a bunch of BBQ'rs that use the Big Green Egg. It's a fun Saturday with great eats and most bring brewski's to drink. I'm bringing a keg of Apfelwein and my Haus Pale Ale.

Check it out if you are near Austin. Brew & BBQ on the water. It doesn't get much better!

Wow sounds like a lot of fun. How do you like your egg ED? My mom was considering one of those.

I love my egg. I just finished smoking 30 pounds of pork shoulder for pulled pork. It's a great thing to cook on. The Texas Eggfest is the place to get one and save a couple hundred bucks on it.

This would make for a fun HBT meetup weekend. I'll work out a deal for HBT folks who bring homebrew & stuff to cook.
