I moved to Harpers Ferry about a year ago and have not found many brewers in the area so let me know where you are...and any good hangouts :mug:

I have been brewing for 5 years but am still learning. I have started doing AG and 10G batches and love it. I have mostly brewed stouts, dunkelweisen and have my first lambic aging.

Middle of nowhere, hell! You are in a beautiful, historic area. Count your blessings. Lots of homebrewers around, and there is a terrific homebrew store in Frederick, MD, not too terribly far from you.

No one else???

Thanks, I love it up in the montains. I love hiking and the AT trail is 300 yards up from my house :)

VABeerSnob, you're not too far away from me. Do you have any sources for cider apples?

Here are some pics...

Beer and venison anyone? I think I have seen deer just about everytime I brew...but then again they love the spent grains.

Yup, Flying Barrel in Frederick is about as far from you as it is from me. I get my grain in bulk from him, and they have very knowledgable folks on staff. Plus classes and such if you are interested.

I'm just across the border from you on the VA side.

Welcome to the site. It's good to see a fellow brewer in WV! I'm about 30 min away from you in Bunker Hill. As people have said the flying barrel is a great homebrew shop and the country store in winchester va has a good selection of beer.
