My buddy is selling his 20 gallon sculpture. We are just in negotiations for price, but I am not sure how much an older used model will bring. It is a 3 tier with a single pump. Does not have the tipsy feature as it is an older model.

Propane.

Pots are in good condition, all 20 gallon pots.

What price should we start negotiating at?

Depending on the condition, and the age, I'd start it out around $1500. He probably bought it brand new for around $2k unless it's got add-ons, but they don't lose a whole lot of value in my opinion. As long as they're taken care of, that is.
 
It is pretty basic. It doesn't have any electronic features, just an on/off for the single pump system. It really seems like this structure could be built with a couple of pumps for about half this price, but I could be wrong looking at other posters builds. How long has More Beer been making these units?
