Can anyone suggest a hopping schedule for an IPA?

3 lb. Maris Otter malt
1 lb. Crystal 40L
2.5 lb. Rye Malt

6.5 lb. Extra Pale LME

6 oz. Summit (pellets)

I would definatley use them for bittering, but you will have to use something else (like amarillo, centennial, cascade, simcoe, citra, etc.) to overcome the potential "onion" aromas.

Try this:

1 oz centennial first wort hop (60min)
1 oz summit (60 min)
1.5 oz amarillo (20min)
.5 oz cascade (15 min)
.5 oz centennial (10 min)
.5 oz cascade (5 min)
.5 oz amarillo (3 min)
.5 oz cascade (0 min)
1 oz cascade dry hop @ secondary for 7 days

BTW if you need hops I can hlp you locate them at really good prices.

I recently tried oskar Blues brewery's Gubna Imperial Ipa so I wanted to brew an ipa with only summit hops.
