extract brew. wort at 88 degrees. safbrew-33 yeast. was temp low enough to pitch. boiled in 2 gal. added to 3 gallon cold water. room temp 72 deg. will this cause a problem?
 
I would have waited until it got down to 80 myself, but if you didn't make a starter it should be cooled enough when the yeasties start adding their own heat to the brew to prevent off flavors.. You might try helping it cool faster with a wet towel and fan
