Hey just joined the forum, hail from BC Canada and I am new to home brewing.
Always been a big fan of micro-brew since I had my first Granville Island Lager back in about 85 or so. GI was the first micro brew in BC maybe Canada as well?
I like my beer full flavored and my fav store bought is Sleemans Honey Brown Lager at the moment.
I have 2 batches on the go Canadian Adventure Ale and an Austrailian pilsner. Currenty just brewing from cans of extract but I may dip my toe into the sweet waters of all grain in the near future. We have some awesome water here in the Kootenays and I risked life and limb on a snow covered logging road to get some sweet spring water for my pilsner. Kokanee brewery is about an hour drive from here and they make some decent suds.
Alright I am stoked about the new hobby and will keep you all in the loop about my results! Cheers!!!!
