I am making a mead and hydrated my Red Star yeast today but do not want to pitch it until tomorrow. Is this a problem? Can I just cover it with saran wrap and leave it on the counter?
Not a big deal as it is cheap and I have a backup pack, but I don't want to throw it away if it will still be OK.
THANKS,
Lakedawgs

Thanks, it is sitting at about 69 right now. I ferment at about 67, so I am good there.
I will give it a swirl after work and pitch.
Thanks
