that your washing machine is basically a large mashing machine! The water goes in, the clothes sit in water (sure it's soapy but who cares?) then the clothes are rinsed.
Sorry I was staring at the washing machine. This may belong in a different forum.

Yeah, I've thought about that too. I always look at regular things and think how they'd be applied to brewing. Thus being labeled "the obsession"...
