I have no experience with American Ales.I would like to try a few out. I need the best one in your opinion. Great Hop flavor and aroma...extract only. I hear the dog fish head clone is good? Which recipe?

Introduce me to American ales.... :drunk:

Whitey's Gone Fishin' Pale Ale from Charlie Papazian's The Complete Joy of Homebrewing

Pliny the Elder Double IPA, OR Stone's IPA clone....both really hoppy, great aroma, and perfect with nearly every food pairing (IMHO).

AHS Blonde Ale Kit. Good hoppy but not IPA hoppy. This is the best golden ale I have done.
