Another temp question

Iv got my nut brown ale goin in the primary and it seems to be cookin nicely, got about an inch and a half of foam, my temp has gone up to 75 F when it was originally 71 is this a big deal for nut brown ale?

My understanding is that ales are quite forgiving in regards to temperature. Generally, 64-74 degrees F is an ideal temp. for ales, as a rule of thumb.

Lagers, I assume, are much more sensitive to temperature changes.
