Bought BeerSmith 2 a year ago and just started using it. Is BeerSmith 2.1 an upgrade from what I have?

Tried to copy BeerSmith2 to my laptop thinking anything entered there would show up on the desk computer. See now that the program in not "on-line".

How can I copy a recipe, equipment and fermentation files from the laptop to the desktop?

Tried saving the info to a flash drive. BeerSmith 2 will read the data but will not save it.

Also need to know how to import recipes from Hopville.

Help!

Install it onto your second system, don't try to just copy the files over. Then select what you want from the other installed version and select 'export selected' (right click on item). If you want to do an entire folder, select it and use the export item from the File menu. Then transfer it to the other system and select the 'import' option/wizard. Done right, it's damn easy.
