I get my hops in their plantes Saturday afternoon. We were suppose to get some rain this weekend so I thought it would be a good time to get them in. We got a deluge yesterday, 1.75" of rain! Im hoping they dont rot in there...
 
I've often wondered if I've been giving my rhizomes too much water. I usually thumb around in my soil (very carefully) and water the pots once a day usually, sometimes I skip a day depending on how moist / wet (or dry) the soil is. I hope it doesn't rain too much when I put them in the ground, or get too cold.

I worry too much.
 
yeah, I planting mine yesterday and today we are getting rain with a little snow mixed in.
 
I think once you get some halfway decent bines going, the hops are all but invincible to weather. (Well. Most weather, you know what I mean)
 
hrmm i just planted mine on friday and it hasnt stopped raining since! lol they came from the North West US and im pretty sure it never stops raining up there!
